The Company
Our client is a radar startup that supports the autonomous vehicle industry and has made significant strides as an industry leader in this niche. They have been recognized to support both government and commercial needs and was first started after patenting technology from MIT. They have been gaining traction with commercial clients since 2015 and with the rise and demand of autonomous vehicles, they have exponential growth anticipated in the upcoming years.
The Role
We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer that will sit on the Hardware Team. We are looking to hire someone who has previous experience in radars, radio frequency, and PCB/PCBA design and development. This person will own a new project through concept, design, schematics, and testing as well as offering support on an array of other projects.
The Individual
As the ideal candidate you will have the following skill and experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Must have a background in Radar & radio frequency
- Must have experience in PCB/PCBA design and development
- Must have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Must have extensive knowledge of electrical design principles, understanding the technical trade-offs, limitations and practicality of various designs
- Curious and driven by a desire for knowledge and discovery
- Low ego: you take your work seriously but can laugh at yourself
- Enjoy collaborating with small, high output teams in a fast-paced startup environment
