Our client is an IT Services and Solutions Provider for household name IT companies, Government and Federal bodies. They are a value-added reseller focused on supplying hardware, software, and technology services for the Federal, Public sector and commercial business agencies. Providing assistance to customers with the design, procurement, distribution, installation, and support of their most complex technology needs
The Role
You will work on architectural review, supporting customers with engineering, and operational teams on backup design requirements. You will provide technical recommendations and contributes to position papers, white papers, and best practices for customer's backup infrastructure solutions and the use cases for their respective solution areas. You will work cross functionally and bridge operational guidance and coverage between customer's backup operations and engineering teams.
The Individual
To be successful in this role you will need the following skills/experience:
- 5+ years experience as a Senior Data Protection technical resource
- Must have experience in PPDM
- Strong experience with DPA, NetBackup, DD and Avamar
- Knowledge with Dell Data Protection Suite, Data Domain, Networker, Power Protect Data Manger, Data Protection Advisor and Avamar.
- Experience working with enterprise level customers and most importantly should be a professional.
W2 contract - hourly rate flexible DOE
Location - Remote USA, ideally CST time zone.
