Backend Engineer
Founded in 2019 we are building the digital OS and working to re-invent the food supply chain.
With a team of experienced people, we're building digital tools that power food-service wholesalers, helping them grow faster and do more with less, and in the process transforming one of the largest, most fundamental industries in our society.
Responsibilities:
- Writing amazing code at the ground floor of a quickly growing startup
- Making decisions on the evolution of our technical architecture
- Creating the standard for what good code looks like, and helping mentor other new hires
- Working closely with product, design, and ops to quickly expand our product offering
- Getting to know restaurants and suppliers first hand -- and using what you learn to shape the direction of the company
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years full time post graduate experience building high quality, scalable software at a fast-growing startup or tech company
- Proficiency with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with one or more languages like Python, JavaScript, C++, or Go
- Experience developing on AWS infrastructure is a plus
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science
