Overview
A leading advanced computing R&D organization is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter for a 6-month, full-time contract supporting the buildout of a high-performance GPU Research & Development division. This team is focused on developing custom silicon, AI/ML acceleration, and cutting-edge semiconductor solutions used in next-generation computing platforms.
This role is perfect for someone with deep experience recruiting for highly technical roles in engineering R&D, who thrives in fast-moving, collaborative environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for complex technical roles across GPU architecture, machine learning, semiconductor design, and software engineering.
- Partner closely with engineering leaders to define hiring needs, align on search strategies, and drive candidate pipelines from sourcing through close.
- Use a variety of sourcing tools and strategies (Boolean, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, technical communities, etc.) to identify and engage passive talent.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process.
- Stay current on compensation trends, market benchmarks, and talent availability to advise hiring teams and influence recruiting decisions.
- Collaborate on employer brand efforts that highlight the team's technical mission and industry impact.
Requirements
- 8+ years of technical recruiting experience, with 2–3+ years focused on roles in semiconductor, GPU, or software/hardware engineering fields.
- A strong grasp of technical concepts such as GPU architecture, system-on-chip design, machine learning, and AI-driven hardware/software.
- Proven ability to source and close top-tier engineering talent in highly competitive markets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—able to influence and collaborate with senior engineers and technical leaders.
- Experience with recruiting tools and platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, ATS systems, and tech forums.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex offer packages.
