Role Overview: Solution Consultant
The Solution Consultant is responsible for designing, owning, and delivering customer solutions that align business requirements with platform capabilities. The role acts as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring that solutions are scalable, implementable, and optimized for long-term adoption and success.
This is a senior individual contributor role within Professional Services. The Solution Consultant operates across the full customer lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, implementation support, and transition to ongoing customer success teams.
The role requires strong analytical thinking, customer empathy, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into structured, scalable solution designs.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Customer Advisory
- Lead discovery sessions and workshops to understand customer goals and operational needs
- Design end-to-end solutions aligned with platform capabilities and delivery standards
- Translate business requirements into scalable and implementable solution designs
- Advise customers on tradeoffs, best practices, and solution approaches
Delivery Ownership
- Own solution integrity throughout onboarding and implementation engagements
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure accurate execution of solution designs
- Identify risks, dependencies, and complexity drivers and escalate when needed
- Ensure successful handoff to customer success and support teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales on complex opportunities requiring solution design expertise
- Work with Product teams to provide structured customer and delivery feedback
- Collaborate within governance and delivery frameworks to ensure consistency and quality
Data-Driven & AI-Enabled Delivery
- Leverage approved AI tools and automation to support solution design and analysis
- Use data and insights to guide decision-making and improve delivery outcomes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of solution standards and delivery practices
