Role Overview: Solution Consultant
The Solution Consultant is responsible for designing, owning, and delivering customer solutions that align business objectives with platform capabilities. The role acts as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring that solutions are both technically viable and aligned with successful implementation and adoption outcomes.
The position sits within the Professional Services organization as a senior individual contributor role. It requires close collaboration with customers, delivery teams, product management, and engineering to ensure that solutions are effectively designed, implemented, and optimized for long-term success.
The Solution Consultant plays a critical role across the full customer lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, implementation planning, and post-sale engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads solution design sessions with customers to understand business goals and technical requirements
- Translates customer requirements into scalable and configurable platform solutions
- Acts as a trusted advisor throughout discovery, implementation, and delivery phases
- Collaborates with internal teams including product, engineering, and delivery to ensure feasibility and alignment
- Produces detailed solution documentation including workflows, architectures, and implementation plans
- Identifies gaps between customer needs and platform capabilities and proposes practical solutions or workarounds
- Supports onboarding and implementation across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise customers
- Ensures solutions are designed for scalability, maintainability, and long-term customer success
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in solution consulting, technical consulting, or implementation-focused roles within SaaS or enterprise software environments
- Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into structured technical solutions
- Experience engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at multiple organizational levels
- Solid understanding of system integrations, workflow design, and configurable software platforms
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise customer segments preferred
