Senior Solutions Engineer

A fast-growing European data-management software provider is expanding aggressively across North America — and as the customer base scales, we’re hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer who brings deep technical credibility and hands-on expertise.

This role is equal parts engineering, customer engagement, and strategic influence. You’ll help enterprises design, validate, and implement solutions for moving, protecting, and optimizing vast amounts of unstructured data.

You’ll work with enterprise storage teams, cloud architects, and engineering partners from leading storage and infrastructure vendors — helping them build resilient data-management architectures for large-scale migration, backup, and archival environments.

You’ll also collaborate directly with some of the largest organizations in the U.S., including Fortune-level corporations, major healthcare systems, and government agencies.

• Partner with sales and channel teams to develop technical strategies for enterprise accounts.

• Lead discovery and architecture sessions to assess infrastructure, performance bottlenecks, and data workflows.

• Deliver compelling demos and run Proofs of Concept (POCs) in complex customer environments.

• Architect integrated solutions across storage systems (Isilon, Qumulo, HPE, NetApp), public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP), and existing backup/migration platforms.

• Validate performance and scalability in petabyte-scale environments.

• Provide field-driven feedback to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap decisions.

• Support deployment teams to ensure seamless transitions from pre-sales to production.

• Serve as the technical voice of the customer inside the organization.

• You love digging into how systems really work and may even experiment with a home lab just to test throughput between storage environments.

• 5+ years in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting for enterprise software or infrastructure.

• Proven success leading POCs and technical validations in complex, large-scale environments.

• Deep knowledge of storage, backup, and data-management architectures across file, block, and object systems.

• Strong familiarity with Linux, Windows, APIs, and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Bonus points for:

• Experience in HPC, Media & Entertainment, Life Sciences, or Research computing.

• Background working with system integrators, OEMs, or channel partners.

• Familiarity with tools such as rsync, Robocopy, object gateways, and performance-tuning large-scale file systems.
