Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced IT Field Service Technician to support field operations by installing and servicing computer and printer hardware across various retail locations in the Cape Cod and surrounding Massachusetts area.
The technician will be assigned daily tasks including service calls and installation work, and will be expected to operate independently while receiving remote direction from a team lead. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are essential, as the position involves daily travel to multiple store locations.
Key Responsibilities:

Travel daily to various store or office locations using personal vehicle

Assist with hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance

Troubleshoot and repair computer systems, printers, and related hardware

Communicate regularly with the team lead to receive assignments and updates

Complete service documentation, ticketing, and expense reports accurately

Provide professional customer service in a field-based setting

Safely lift and transport equipment up to 75 lbs

Work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays if required
Required Qualifications:

Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation

Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check

Previous experience in computer hardware repair and support

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently without constant supervision

Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy equipment
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in a field service or technical support role

Experience with printer setup, configuration, and maintenance

IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) are a plus
