Sales Manager - Managed Services (Media Sector)
My client is a leading managed services provider specializing in next-generation technology solutions for the media industry. Their innovative services empower media organizations to optimize their operations, enhance efficiency, and navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and business development within the media sector. You will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, building strong client relationships, and guiding our sales team to achieve ambitious revenue goals. Your expertise in managed services and the media space will help position our solutions as essential tools for media companies looking to thrive in a competitive environment.
- Sales Strategy Development:** Create and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate and expand our market presence in the media sector, focusing on managed services and next-generation solutions.
- Client Relationship Management:** Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
- Team Leadership:** Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing training, support, and performance management to help them achieve their sales targets.
- Market Analysis:** Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Use insights to refine sales approaches and tactics.
- Collaboration:** Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement and service delivery.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting:** Develop accurate sales forecasts and reports to track performance metrics, making adjustments to strategies as necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the managed services or technology solutions sector, with a focus on media.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of next-generation technologies \
- and trends within the media industry.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
