Sales Manager – Broadcast & AV Solutions (Chicago, IL)

About the Opportunity
I’m currently working with a well-established organization operating within the broadcast, media, and professional AV space, supporting clients through a combination of system integration and value-added reselling services.

This business partners with leading technology vendors and delivers end-to-end solutions across video production, post-production, live events, and IP-based workflows. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire a Sales Manager to expand their presence in the Midwest.

The Role

This is a key hire responsible for driving new business and revenue growth across the Chicago region. You’ll be selling a broad portfolio of solutions into broadcasters, production companies, enterprise clients, and live event environments.

The role offers strong autonomy, with the opportunity to build and develop a regional territory while being supported by a highly technical delivery team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy
  • Identify, engage, and win new business opportunities
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships
  • Sell consultative, solution-based offerings (hardware, software, services)
  • Work closely with internal engineering teams to design client solutions
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Represent the business at industry events and client meetings
What They’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in broadcast, media, or professional AV sales
  • Background in system integration, reseller, or solutions-led environments
  • Strong understanding of video workflows, production, or IP technologies
  • Demonstrated success in hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to operate independently within a regional territory
Nice to Have
  • Existing network across broadcasters, production companies, or AV clients
  • Experience working with leading vendors in the space
  • Exposure to cloud, IP video, or live production technologies
