Client
is seeking a Quality Analyst I to join the Operational Quality Laboratories in Rochester, NY. This role supports manufacturing operations by performing release testing, data analysis, and ensuring products meet quality and regulatory standards before distribution. The position requires flexibility to rotate between A Shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) and B Shift (1:30 PM–10:00 PM) every two weeks.
Key Responsibilities
l
Execute Vitros analyzer testing (Vitros 350, 4600, 3400XT) for product release.
l
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers.
l
Analyze test results and ensure products meet established quality criteria.
l
Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Product Support, and technical teams to address quality issues.
l
Work with data systems including LIMS, SAP, Windchill, and Non-Conformance/CAPA systems.
l
Follow cGMP, FDA requirements, and internal documentation protocols.
l
Perform work in a Biosafety Level 2 (BL2) laboratory, including handling human samples and wearing PPE.
Qualifications
l
BA/BS degree (Science field preferred) or equivalent experience.
l
Prior experience in a laboratory or similar environment.
l
Ability to learn and troubleshoot Vitros analyzers.
l
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
l
Familiarity with cGMP, regulated documentation, and quality control principles.
l
Preferred experience with QO LIMS or SAP.
l
Strong organization, multitasking ability, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
l
Comfortable working with computers and Windows-based software.
l
Ability to stand for extended periods and adapt to shifting priorities.

Position is located at Rochester, NY.
Shift rotation: 2 weeks on A shift, followed by 2 weeks on B shift.
