Position Summary
This leadership role is responsible for managing and supporting seasonal HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) colleagues during the annual HEDIS Hybrid Project. The focus is on driving performance, ensuring compliance, fostering team collaboration, and delivering high-quality results. The position oversees day-to-day operations and supports HEDIS leadership in the successful execution of project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations and activities of seasonal HEDIS staff.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to HEDIS management teams.
- Collaborate with HEDIS managers, directors, and executive leadership as needed.
- Assist in the hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching of seasonal colleagues to ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks by seasonal HEDIS staff.
- Support the execution of divisional and company-wide initiatives.
- Provide continuous feedback and support throughout the HEDIS Hybrid Project lifecycle.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication between leadership, managers, and staff to ensure effective information flow.
- Ensure all seasonal team members receive the required training and compliance education.
- Oversee scheduling and time tracking of seasonal staff to ensure operational efficiency.
- 5+ years of leadership or management experience in managed healthcare or quality management.
- Strong understanding of HEDIS, NCQA audits, and STAR Measures programs.
- Proven ability to manage teams in a performance-driven, deadline-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated skill in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound business judgment and professional demeanor.
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
