Position Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of one complex project or multiple less complex, business-sponsored IT projects. This role ensures delivery of project tasks on time, within budget, and within scope. The Project Manager is accountable for the overall success of the project(s).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, direct, and plan one complex or multiple less complex projects.
- Develop and maintain all key project governance documents, including:
- Project Charter
- Project Workplan
- Communications Plan
- Risk Mitigation Strategy
- Manage project budgets and report cost information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Proactively evaluate project activities; build contingency plans; take corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor and resolve issues to mitigate risks, including scope and/or budget variances.
- Track and report on both tangible and intangible project benefits.
- Conduct team and individual performance reviews at the end of each project.
- Proven track record as a seasoned Project Manager.
- Strong facilitation skills for leading meetings.
- Skilled in documenting meeting minutes and developing clear, concise summaries.
- Proficient in creating PowerPoint presentations and executive-level reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
