IS Technician - Shipping/Receiving

Role Summary:
This is a physically active, onsite position involving the handling, packaging, and shipping of IT hardware. The individual will work in a warehouse/logistics environment and must be comfortable with regular lifting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:

Ship IT hardware according to scheduled deadlines.

Receive and store incoming equipment.

Unpack, pick, package, and ship IT hardware to stores and field service technicians via UPS.

Use service orders or verbal instructions to fulfill shipments.

Accurately record product serial numbers.

Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Process shipped and returned equipment appropriately.
Physical Requirements:

Frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking.

Constant lifting under 50 lbs.

Occasional lifting up to 80 lbs. with assistance.

Must be comfortable being on feet most of the day.
Required Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience.

High School Diploma or GED.
-
Ability to read, write, and count accurately.

Basic computer experience preferred.
