Front-End Infrastructure Engineer (Onsite – Austin, TX)
Contract Length: 6 Months
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite, 5 days per week)
Pay Rate: $70-95 per hour (W2 or equivalent, no benefits)
The front-end infrastructure team is seeking a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in front-end verification flows, tools, and methodologies. The role involves deep technical work across multiple verification platforms, with a strong focus on regression management, tool deployment, and collaboration with external EDA tool providers.
Key responsibilities-
Design, support, and continuously improve complex, scalable, and efficient front-end verification flows for large projects.

Contribute to the development and enhancement of flow-based regression systems and ensure they keep pace with evolving project requirements.

Lead day-to-day regression management, including setup, monitoring, and refinement of automated regressions and interactive user workflows.

Own triage of regression results, including debugging failures, investigating coverage gaps, and driving fixes to maintain flow stability and reliability.

Act as a primary escalation point for issues involving major simulation and verification tools, providing advanced debugging and troubleshooting support.

Coordinate with external EDA tool representatives to resolve issues, drive escalations, and maintain productive technical relationships.

Deploy, integrate, and support tools used for RTL architecture and ensure they interface cleanly with front-end verification flows.

Maintain and refine version control workflows, leveraging deep experience with modern distributed and centralized systems to support complex multi-repo environments.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent advanced degree with commensurate experience.

Demonstrated experience designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting front-end design verification flows and CAD infrastructure for large-scale, high-performance silicon or similar projects.

Strong background in flow-based regression management, including expertise in debugging regression failures and coverage-related issues.

Hands-on experience with industry-standard digital simulation and verification tools, plus tools used for RTL architectural analysis and configuration.

Advanced knowledge of modern version control systems, including distributed workflows and interoperability between different systems.

Excellent communication skills, with experience collaborating directly with external tool providers or partners to resolve technical issues and optimize tool usage.

Proven ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to complex problem-solving.
