Location: Remote
Duration: 6+ Months
Project Overview:
Short-term project focused on migrating Tableau reports into Power BI
. The developer will work independently, analyze data, and design dashboards and visualizations that support clinical and quality outcomes. Strong candidates are self-starters, data-curious, and capable of delivering solutions independently
.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Power BI: 3+ years (6+ preferred)
- SQL & SSMS: 3+ years experience
- Business Intelligence: 5+ years (6+ preferred)
- Data Visualization: Experience in dashboard design and analytics presentation
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments
- Relational & Dimensional Databases: 3–5 years
- Tableau: 3+ years
- Healthcare Experience: Particularly Home Health, Home Care Home Base systems, OASIS datasets

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent BI experience)

Lead development of clinical and quality dashboards supporting operations and outcomes reporting

Analyze source systems, define data sources, and design/implement data models

Collaborate with Data Engineering, business teams, and multiple stakeholders for requirements gathering and solution delivery

Maintain, document, and facilitate data models, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms

Translate business and clinical requirements into actionable specifications

Perform ad hoc data analysis, validate data accuracy, and ensure integrity of reporting

Educate stakeholders on product use and reporting navigation

Lead development of measurement methodologies, KPIs, and data collection standards

Communicate effectively across teams, escalate issues when necessary, and resolve conflicts

Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Warehouse) – a plus

Excel for ad hoc analysis

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Candidate must submit a work sample (Power BI pbix file or PDF) showing visuals and preferably model-level detail (redact as needed)
