Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Change Management Consultant to lead and execute change initiatives across process, system, and organizational domains. This role bridges the gap between technical implementation and business operations by ensuring that impacted stakeholders understand, adopt, and sustain changes. The consultant will play a key role in enabling a “connected end-state ecosystem” to help address the root causes of operational and financial inefficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
Change Identification & Impact Analysis
- Proactively identify upcoming changes in processes, systems, or organizational structures.
- Conduct stakeholder analyses and change impact assessments to evaluate how changes will affect roles, workflows, and KPIs.
- Document impacts and define mitigation strategies to address resistance or adoption risks.
- Enhance and execute change management plans aligned with project timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate change interventions including stakeholder communications, engagement strategies, training, and adoption activities.
- Apply structured methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) to support change readiness and execution.
- Develop and deliver clear, audience-tailored communication materials such as emails, FAQs, presentations, newsletters, and more.
- Ensure stakeholders understand the purpose, benefits, and impacts of the changes.
- Establish feedback mechanisms (e.g., pulse surveys, Q&A sessions) to monitor sentiment and address concerns.
- Create and maintain a stakeholder engagement plan.
- Identify key stakeholders and sponsors across IT and business units.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment meetings, workshops, and regular updates to secure buy-in and support.
- Design and deliver training programs for end-users and impacted business teams.
- Develop materials such as job aids, demos, and hands-on workshops.
- Manage training logistics and deliver sessions (train-the-trainer or direct) to promote capability-building.
- Create and execute an operational hand-off plan to ensure a smooth transition into business-as-usual operations.
- Define new SOPs and post-implementation support structures (e.g., hypercare).
- Support early adoption, track success metrics, and troubleshoot post-go-live issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, change logs, training manuals, and communication archives.
- Track all change management activities and outcomes (e.g., training attendance, feedback results).
- Provide ongoing monitoring and regular reporting on change progress and adoption metrics.
- Reinforce positive behaviors by showcasing success stories and quick wins.
- Adjust change strategies based on adoption data and stakeholder feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Change Management and Process Engineering.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with IT and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with agile transformation or large-scale system implementations.
- Experience with structured change management methodologies such as Prosci or ADKAR.
- Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci Change Practitioner) or Process Improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Master’s degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in Change Management or Process Improvement are preferred.
