About the Role
They are seeking an experienced Broadcast Engineer with strong live broadcast knowledge to join their growing team. This role blends hands-on, on-site technical work with remote system management , and involves several days per week visiting clients around the Los Angeles area.
The right person will be comfortable stepping into high-pressure live environments, solving problems in real time, and ensuring that mission-critical broadcast systems run flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain equipment for live broadcast events .

Provide on-site technical support to clients during live productions.

Diagnose and resolve signal flow, audio, and video issues in fast-paced environments.

Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of complex broadcast systems.

Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless delivery of live events.

Stay current with new technologies, formats, and workflows in broadcast.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in broadcast engineering with a focus on live broadcast operations .

Strong knowledge of broadcast signal flow, video/audio routing, and transmission systems.

Proficiency with SDI, IP-based broadcast systems, and streaming protocols.

Excellent troubleshooting skills under live conditions.

Strong interpersonal skills for working directly with clients.

Must be based in Los Angeles with the ability to travel locally.
