THE COMPANY:

The organization is an established life sciences company with a global presence across multiple biotech disciplines such as gene editing/gene discovery, stem cell, RNAi, plant & food research, cloning, proteomics and many more. They are product driven and currently in an R&D phase working on their next gerbnation of products.

THE ROLE:

The role will be hands-on, lab-based, but will also involve conducting statistical analysis using bioinformatics. You will be tasked leading projects independently through all stages of product development, from initial Proof of Concept, through Research and Development, to Product Launch. You will be tasked with developing and executing experiments, as well as working with stakeholders across functional areas. The role Specifically, you will be shaping the novel NGS product portfolio via research and development across NGS, CRISPR technology, and genomics data analysis to maintain the companies leading position in omics research.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Relevant MS or PHD in biology, bioinformatics or similar

- Must have extensive lab experience with NGS, library preparation, and genomics/molecular data sets

- Ability to conduct statistical analysis of data using R and or Python coding

- Must be a team player able to work collaboratively with other team members and groups
