I joined LMA Recruitment in November 2015 to set up the Finance division. We grew to over ten consultants within three years (£1.1 million NFI) and even won best team of the year in 2018 due to our phenomenal performance. I have always prided myself on delivering a consultative service focussing on long term solutions, not the ‘quick win’. This approach has served me well in my career to date.
In May 2019 I was promoted to MD of the permanent division to oversee the following specialist verticals: Finance & Audit, Marketing, Governance (Risk, Compliance, Quant) & Operations, Business Support, HR & Reward and Asset Finance & Leasing. We generally cover entry level roles up to c-suite opportunities in Financial Services, Commerce & Industry and Professional Services.
In September 2019 I took over running another Empresaria company called Ball and Hoolahan who were established over 30 years ago. We are specialists within FMCG marketing, but also recruit across a diverse range of sectors including retail, professional services, technology, leisure, media and publishing and we cover all roles in marketing and related services including: Brand Management, Insight & Research, Digital & Online, Trade/Shopper/Customer, Category & Analysts, Direct Marketing, CRM, Loyalty, PR & Communications, Consultancy & Strategy.
While I enjoy running both these business. I try to keep an active life and believe a healthy body leads to a healthy mind. That coupled with putting my family first offers me a good balance in life which I believe is key to delivering the best results at work. Its great working for companies like LMA and Ball and Hoolahan that really invests in its people, listens and makes changes when and where required quickly. They are both Organisations that are on an upward trajectory and it’s great to be able to add to what is already two very successful businesses.
