Amy Joyner, ConSol’s Vice President, recently joined The Search podcast to discuss ConSol Partner’s growth plans for the year ahead in our USA branches and highlights some of her personal journey in tandem. Having been in the recruitment industry for almost a decade, Amy has gained extensive experience as a Recruitment SME, Operational Leader and Business Manager as well as boasting an extremely successful sales track record. As a recognized thought leader, coach and trainer Amy has been inspirational in her role with ConSol Partners.

Adjusting to the unexpected events that unfolded last year, Amy shines a light on how ConSol turned 2020 into an opportunity to improve the company, raise the bar and adapt to an ever-changing world. Over the past 12 months, we have been able to successfully move recruitment processes online, continue to solidify and strengthen relationships digitally and create new structures for onboarding and training in a remote capacity.

While discussing 2021 and beyond, Amy describes ConSol’s expansion plans and growth-oriented vision. Alongside continued growth a tour current offices, located in Santa Monica, CA and Austin, TX we have additional plans to expand into a third office in Philadelphia, PA later this year. Amy goes on to explain how the USA offices have previously focused largely on direct hire recruitment, but this year a key area of growth will be building a contract staffing practice out of our Austin office. Whilst retaining the specialist 360 direct hire practice we will also be cultivating a spilt desk model – giving our team the opportunity to specialise in sales or recruiting rather than both.  

Amy, excitedly, goes on to give an insightful account of the new benefits that ConSol has rolled out at the beginning of 2021. These benefits include a new 401K plan, additional PTO per year, Birthday and Christmas off as well as added perks for each year of tenure. We have also increased earning potential by adding $000’s in bonuses for achieving targets and milestones, generous incentive trips, spot prizes and the ability to earn extra commission in varying sprint competitions.

Amy also credits ConSol joining the Empresaria group in 2019 as a huge benefit for their own staff as well as their clients and candidates. Consol Partners is a part of the Empresaria Family, operating within the IT sector. Empresaria Group plc is a global specialist staffing group operating across 6 diversified sectors in 20 countries but supplying to many more.
