Title

Active Directory Technical Architect

We are looking for someone to:

  • Lead the creation of architectural concepts and solutions design for the entire Active Directory environment, accounting for all interactions with identity and entitlement management & provisioning systems, system inventory and configuration management systems and the consumers of Active Directory services
  • Work with both technical and business stakeholders across the company, i.e. security architects, project leads, business analysts, testers and IT operations representatives when developing architectural concepts and solution designs
  • Transfer requirements into technical solutions that are integrated into a heterogeneous and highly automated infrastructure
  • Contribute to problem analysis exercises and is assists engineers when providing 3rd level support
  • A deep understanding of the Microsoft Active Directory technology (Active Directory Directory Services, Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services, Active Directory Federation Services, etc.), including related services such as networking (DNS), identity and entitlement management (Microsoft Identity Manager, System Center Orchestrator), authentication technologies such as Kerberos, NTLM, etc.
  • A solid understating of the concept of the Enhanced Security Administration Environment (ESAE) and security products in the Active Directory space such as Quest or StealthBits.
  • A good understanding of Microsoft operating systems and infrastructure applications (System Center Configuration Management, System Center Operations Manager, etc.)
  • Awareness of other infrastructure components such as Splunk, ArcSight, Identity & Access Management systems.

Your team

You will be working in Security Engineering to design and engineer the overall Active Directory environment for all business areas globally and assist the Active Directory operations team in deployment and management of the environment. Team members are mainly located in Wroclaw, London and Zurich.

Active Directory Engineering covers all core Microsoft Active Directory services (AD Directory Services, AD Lightweight Directory Services, AD Federation Services, Distributed File System – Namespace), supporting products such as Quest Change Auditor, Recovery Manager for Active Directory and Active Roles Server, and a set of tools that support IT operations and support units in their daily business.

You experience and skills

You have:

  • A master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • A deep understanding of the Microsoft Active Directory technology (Active Directory Directory Services, Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services, Active Directory Federation Services, etc.), including related services such as networking (DNS), identity and entitlement management (Microsoft Identity Manager, System Center Orchestrator), authentication technologies such as Kerberos, NTLM, etc.
  • A solid understating of the concept of the Enhanced Security Administration Environment (ESAE) and security products in the Active Directory space such as Quest or StealthBits.
  • A good understanding of Microsoft operating systems and infrastructure applications (System Center Configuration Management, System Center Operations Manager, etc.)
  • Awareness of other infrastructure components such as Splunk, ArcSight, Identity & Access Management systems.
  • End-to-end troubleshooting and analysis skills for problem investigations in the Active Directory environment
  • Good working knowledge of common web services and technologies such as HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID, etc.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft’s cloud platform, especially as it relates to security services and identity and entitlement management services (AzureAD, Intune, etc.)
  • A solid understanding of information security in general
  • Strong communication skills in English are essential in order to liaise with senior management, stakeholders and team members
  • The ability to create comprehensive architecture and overall solution design documents taking into account the existing IT eco-system
